world peace

world peace is the worst idea i have ever heard. there is no way in hell that it would ever happen. one reason is religion, no one can agree on who's god or gods are right. the world is screwed because of over population, we would be done for within months. since the murder rate would drop to zero babies would be squirting out everywhere. there is a thing called yin and yang, where one relies on the other. without hate there hate there wouldn't be love. i love to hate and i just won't get rid of that. everything would go to hell.

    First of, the idea of world peace is NOT a bad idea. That goal can never be truly acomplished but i think that as far as the human race has come, its a definate possibiliaty. Things like the European Union, puts us closer to acheiving some type of global peace.

    What you need to understand, is that its the idea of world peace, the thought of harmony between people, and sharing as much love as possible, is what keeps places like Cananda and America, and most of Europe, places where people want to live without fear of the people around them. Its our stability, our laws, and the idea that everyone CAN live peacefully that draws people to our countries.
    Yes, wars still are going on, like in the iddle east and parts of africa and Asia. And our laws and our stability has been challenged, but Its nothing from what it was 20 years ago. I mean We have an AFRICAN american president for goodness sakes. If that isnt a sign of progress towards world peace and unity, then what is.

    I agree with you, there can't be good without bad so really it is impossible. The better something can be the worst something else has to be. This world is based on opposition. How is it even possible to have world peace anyways?

    I think that world peace would be wonderful but I have no idea how to get that on a world level. I don't think that everyone has to agree about everything to get world peace they just have to accept other people's choices.

    I disagree that good cannot exist without bad. badness, or evil, is simply the absence of good, just as darkness is the absence of light and coldness is the absence of heat. It is possible to have heat without coldness, or light without darkness, and it is possible to have good without bad.

    I think world peace is a bad idea. Why even try when we all know it's not going to happen. If it did happen, yes, it would most likely suck.

    World peace doesn't exist! There's no way to have world peace. Yeah it would be great and dandy but its never going to happen. Humans were made to sin, made to make there own disicions and with those to things alone there's no way world peace would ever happen.. sorry lol :D

    I really do not want to comment on this post. Mainly because I am exhausted and would rather not comment on such a ridiculously controversial topic.

    Ok. Here goes: I think it's possible. But for it to be possible, a lot of hard work has to be done and it has to be done with out-of-the-box ideas. It could have it's perks for awhile but it also could easily be thrown off balance and really mess things up.

    I am neutral when it comes to world peace.

    and with the no violence thing, just because there isn't violence doesn't mean everyone will be happy. violence is not the only form of hate and sin.
