Jimminy Christmas!!

What is the true meaning of Christmas? I know what the bible says and I know the gist of the half billion plays and movies made about Christmas. Everyone has their favorite Christmas movie and or quote. "You'll shoot your eye out!". Every one has a memories whether they are good or bad. For some people it's that kinda of year where family gets together and continuously argues. Either that or Christmas is spent wishing for family. Christmas mean something different for everyone, how can one answer cover them all? Your local kick-in- the-pants kindergartner probably might only want cookies!

  1. For me, the true meaning of Christmas is on Christmas morning when you get up early and feel the warmth and love between you and your family. On Christmas, I always get a special dinner and a ton of presents, but the thing I enjoy most is just spending time with family.

Many people think that the true meaning of Christmas is giving.

  2. Christmas means family time, mostly good but sometimes not so great. It means the savior was born and acting out the nativity and singing Christmas carols and decorations and fire places lit and hot chocolate and cider and making gingerbread houses and going to the store and getting presents for eachother or hand making presents. It;s think of others, It means love!!! =]

  5. Giving. I think this works for every one. God came on christmas to Give His life for us. People give you presents. and sometimes (if you're lucky) you get to give that local kindergartner the kick in the pants that he/she deserves.

  11. I dont know the true meaning but to me it is being with family and the ones you love. Of course the gifts are nice but honestly the best part of them is that you can make someone happy through them and they can do the same for you.

  15. I totally agree with Luke. The bible says it all, Christmas is not a time of Santa and presents and all the made up stuff today. Christmas is the celebration of the birth of Christ who died for us. I think my family gives gifs because we want to represent god saving our lives and giving us the most precious gift and we give to people.
