Tell me your secrets and ask me your questions...

Music is a big thing for almost everyone. For some it's their muse, their escape from reality, or a simple pasttime. Music can change lives if you let it. So, my question is:

What is your favorite song of all time?

You've got to have one. No matter what genre, even if you listen to all kinds of music. There has to be one song that has somehow affected your life, even in a tiny way.

Zis eez mine.

  1. Mine is Independence Day by the lovely Elliott Smith. The song says:
"It's gonna happen soon, but not today.
So go to sleep, and make the change.
    I'll meet you here tomorrow,
    Independence Day."
And that's something positive that I've kept in my life and that keeps me going if I need a pick up.

  4. Wow! Tricky one!
I guess I must say "Layla" by Derick and the Dominoes, but I almost like most of the songs of Wings, Little River Band, Billy Joel and Beach Boys just as much. However, I like most of these songs for their music, because I don't pay too much attention to the lyrics. My favorite for the lyrics would be "Cool Change" by Little River band.

If there's one thing in my life that's missing
It's the time I spend alone
Sailing on the cool and bright clear waters...
    Time for
    a cool change
    I know that it's time
    for a cool change........

  5. I think that my favorite song is yellow by coldplay. But i'm not sure, there are so many songs that mean something to me. I think I like yellow because it doesn't straight out say what the person is feeling. It says that the feeling was yellow and I like that because it get's the general idea across but you can define "yellow" however you want.

It's just so... it's hard to describe.

"Even though the world she loves
It won't ever be the way it was
And his heart of stone left hers breaking

    Every night she cries
And dies a little more each time
    Say you love me
    Nothing left inside
    Say you love me
And the silence will set her free"

I don't know, I just feel connected to the lyrics.
