My question is:
If we do die and go to heaven, where is heaven? I have always believed its beyond the clouds, but if you have been in an airplane, you fly above the clouds.
Are you flying through Heaven, with angels and god there too?
Or is heaven even farther up in the sky? Do you think its out of this universe?

Heaven is wherever you want it to be.
ReplyDeleteIn my opinion, I believe as heaven to be a state of soul. Like state of mind, except for the decesed. (sp?)
ReplyDeleteNot particularly anyplace physical, but someplace emotional. But this is for me and I acceot the ideas of something more for other people, just not for me.
In my religion we believe that heaven will be on earth after christ comes again. That Jesus will come and purify the earth taking away all evil. Then it will be alot like life right now. Just everything is perfect! haha I agree i often imagine it in the coulds somewhere, but really I think that God knows everything and that if we know as much as we do right now here in earth that "heaven" will only be more advanced. That's just my opinion though. It will be interseting to find out wont it!?
ReplyDeleteHeaven can't be a physical place, or it would be apparent to those here on Earth, and it isn't. I suppose it could be outside of the universe, but then there's a question of how our souls would travel from here to there. Really, I think that physical considerations can't come into play when discussing a soul's resting place; it's got to exist in a way that we don't fully understand, in a way that isn't apparent to our physical senses.

I believe that heaven is here. All around us. But since our spirits are in our bodies, we can't see heaven, we can only feel it if we need to...if that makes any sense :)
ReplyDeleteHeaven. I believe heaven could be anywhere we want it to be, people usually have their way viewing on where it is.
ReplyDeleteHeaven is at least not in this world because god can hold the world in his palm and im pretty sure he lives somewhere in heaven so its definently got to be a ways out there.

ReplyDeleteI think heaven is a serene place you have always seen in your dreams. I think heaven is a place where you don't have any problems and you can live in harmony.
ReplyDeleteI don't believe in Heaven but I always thought that if I was wrong and it did exist, it would be sort of an alternate dimension.
ReplyDeleteI don't think that heaven is a particular place with golden arches and clouds with wings and blah blah blah... I think it's a part of you, if that's what you want to believe in. If you don't believe in Heaven, then you won't go there. I think it's just a part of you.
