My favorite season is summer because it's hot and school is out, but my second favorite season is spring. I love it because it is really pretty. There are flowers everywhere, and everything is really colorful. It rains a lot, but it always does around here, and I like the rain, but only if it's raining really hard, otherwise, it's worthless and isn't any fun.
Whenever I think of spring, I think of the purple flowers by my house. There is a meadow next to my house, that is covered with purple flowers during the spring. One day, it will be wet and muddy, and the next completely covered in flowers. That is when I know spring has arrived.
