I did notice that two women were standing and watching him for a long time. Then the woman at the end complimented him. That was nice.

The idea is that the violinist is an amazing, one-of-a-kind musician, playing unbelievably beautiful music -- and people just keep on walking by, because nobody pays attention to street musicians. This is sad to me because nobody notices the wonder and the beauty of our world, because we're too busy, you know, commuting. Going to work, going home, going out for pizza, sending text messages to our friends -- we never really see our own world. Sad.
