A random rant having to do nothing with a topic.

My best friends parents got separated this summer, they made her move with her mom to Aloah and transfer to a new school. Her grades are good but her mental and physical heath have really declined. She has lost a scary amount of wait is always sick and very rarly smiles.
My mom has offered to let her live with us just to finish high school or even just to get through this year, her parents however are not seeing this as a good thing. She told me just the other day that she cant live with her parents anymore because they are bringinng all their problems to her and not listening to hers.
I have been there to comfort her and just be with her but sometimes i just dont know what to do! Advice isnt really what i'm looking for although of course it wouldnt be turned down, i just really need to get some of it off my chest so whoever reads this, sorry for the randomness but thanks for listening.

  1. thats the hardest when the stupid parents bring their problems to the kid. they are retards for doing that to her, and shes got to be the bravest girl in the world to not freak out on them.

  2. probably the best thing to do with her is let her know haow many people love her, and want her to stay healthy, and happy. and she needs to learn that people everywhere are going to love her cause shes fricking amazing, and very pretty and how could people not love her? tell her we are worrying about her, and we need her healthy, physically and emotionally.

  3. I have been through a parents divorce. Its hard, things aren't always going to go well and parents will bring there problems to the kids cause they dont know where else to bring them. You just have to be strong and not give up faith and keep telling your self (or your best friend) that its all going to be ok and everything is going to work out in the end.
Just cause divorces happen doesnt mean to go and not eat, or stupid things like that. Just you have to hold on through it and dont give up faith, and she is very strong for not yelling at her parents. If she needs anything then youll always be there for her and wont let her down. Tell her that no one is going to stop being her friends cause her parents have problems and they made her move, if she stopped eating or whatever she can die from serious problems, I know thats scary but its the truth and its life. Sorry for the long thing but I know how she feels like.

  5. She needs help, Plain and simple.
However, not from any of us. She needs to see somebody, and fast, cuz problems like that bleed into other things and get out of control. Don't stand by and let her do these things, get her help, even if she doesn't want it

  6. I say dont get her help. That could make her messed up even more. I know people say that its a good thing to go to therapy but everyone I see come out of therapy is worse then when they went in, and they aren't getting a divorce because it costs hundreds of dollars and with this economy they cant afford the money. Understandable.

  7. Listen, then you dont know a damn thing about rehabilitation centers, and theripists, becuase yes they suck, they do work. I dont know what people you know that come out of rehab centers, but half of my my own god damn family has checked into them, and im glad they did. They are have been clean for 3 years know, and even though i hate all of them, they are in their prime. They are better people, an can function in society.
Rehab centers and a theripist my not be he best option, but school consulars and even a few selec teachers are well equiped to handle these situations. If they are not, then they can recommend you dee better care.
If the parents are just big enough assholes to put there children through that, then eff them. It shouldnt matter how much a divorce or a srink costs, get it for your god damn child, and DO NOT LET HER SUFFER
