I really dont care at all about sports. But, from my perspective it seems to be more about popularity. I know this is'nt true for everyone but I know that there are some people that join so they can get into the "cliques". The people that don't join for those purposes that honestly just love being good at something I think do it for they're own enjoyment and satisfaction at being good at something. I also don't like the competitiveness that a lot of people get over some things. Just playing games in P.E. was horrible because any time anyone messed up you'd get yelled at. It's just a game.
sports-competitive activities in which you require skills that you will not need for life besides learning to work with or yell at fellow human beings.
