Even though its wrong, we lie. Its part of human nature to deceive, we are liars. We would rather deceive and live in a tangled web of lies. I lie. you Lie. Mr Humphrey lies, everyone does. what matters is how big that white lie can become.
I do lie, but I would rather not have to. I actually lie very little, comparatively, and the vast majority of my lies relate to my job. Well, and feigning interest when I talk to my parents. But is that really lying?
Yeah, okay, it is. And yeah, it hurts me and them. And yeah, I'd rather live in a web of deceit than tell the truth. Fine. Shut up. I still hold my job responsible for most of my lying.
I agree that what matters is how big the lie gets. A little whit lie now and then is no biggie usually but if that white lie happens more and more often and starts turning grey then you have a problem and need to sort yourself out. :)
